Secure and attractive housing for the Calliope mini version 3.0. The large opening in the lid allows easy access to the socket strip underneath. The LED matrix and the three RGB LEDs remain visible through small openings in the lid (top), while a recess on the side makes even the new touch pin on the underside accessible. Of course, there is also sufficient space for connecting the Jacdac modules to the new connectors.
This housing was developed by Funduino to protect the Calliope mini securely and at the same time to make handling particularly student and child-friendly. The lid and housing can be connected using either rubber bands or screws, both of which are included with the housing. The screws enable a permanent connection between the housing and cover, while the battery compartment can still be easily removed in both versions by slightly moving the clamping bracket of the battery holder.
An internal cable duct ensures tidy cabling. If necessary, the cable of the original battery compartment can be wrapped around here before the battery compartment is inserted into the housing. The plug of the battery compartment then only protrudes a few centimeters from the housing and can be plugged directly into the Calliope's power supply socket above it.
Our Calliope mini cases are made from environmentally friendly PLA.
