Grove - Tilt switch

The Grove tilt switch is the equivalent of a push button, based on SW-200D, a tilt-sensitive trigger switch with two balls in one direction. It is used as a digital input. Inside the tilt switch is a pair of balls that make contact with the pins when the housing is upright. If you tilt the housing, the balls do not touch and there is no connection. It is wired with the SIG line, NC is not used in this Grove.

How does the SW-200D work?

When the products are tilted to the conductive terminal (end A with silver feet) and the tilt angle is more than 10 degrees, it is an open circuit in the "OFF" state. When the products of the horizontally placed tilt change, the trigger terminal (gold foot pin end C) is below the horizontal tilt angle and more than 10 degrees. It is a closed circuit in the "ON state".
