Grove - Sliding potentiometer
The Grove sliding potentiometer module contains a linear variable resistor with a maximum resistance of 10 kΩ. When you move the slider from side to side, the output voltage ranges from 0 V to the voltage you apply.
The connection to the other Grove modules is made via a standard 4-pin Grove cable. Three of the pins are connected to OUT (pin 1), Vcc (pin 3) and GND (pin 4), while the fourth pin (pin 2) is connected to an integrated green indicator LED. The LED is used to visually display the change in resistance on the potentiometer.

What is Grove?
Grove facilitates connection, experimentation and simplifies the prototyping process. No jumpers or soldering are required. More than 300 Grove modules have been developed to cover a wide range of applications and fulfill a variety of requirements. Not only the hardware is open source, but also the software.
We offer various Grove shields to enable a connection to the Grove system with various microcontrollers.
