ROBOTIS is a well-known manufacturer of robotics development platforms and components. Under the name DYNAMIXEL, this company also manufactures servomotors with industrial quality and interfaces. The MX-64AT servo motors are equipped with an integrated reduction ratio of 200:1, a controller with feedback and driver. In combination with the TTL interface, the servos can be controlled very precisely and also provide the control unit with feedback on the current position at all times. The maximum resolution (position accuracy) is 0.088°. As each servo can be assigned a unique ID, the servos can be connected in series (one behind the other, as shown below), thus reducing wiring to a minimum.
