ROBOTIS is a well-known manufacturer of robotics development platforms and components. This company also manufactures industrial quality servo motors and interfaces under the name DYNAMIXEL. The MX-28AR servo motors are equipped with an integrated reduction ratio of 193:1, a controller with feedback and driver. In combination with the RS485 interface, the servos can be controlled very precisely and also provide the control unit with feedback on the current position at all times. The maximum resolution (position accuracy) is 0.088°. As each servo can be assigned a unique ID, the servos can be connected in series (one behind the other, as shown below), thus reducing cabling to a minimum.

The aluminum front case ensures optimum heat dissipation for a good temperature/time ratio.
