Capacitor set - extension for varikabi

With the capacitor extension set you can give your little robot a kind of short-term memory. By combining capacitors and resistors, your varikabi can memorize what it sees and, for example, only react to it with a delay.  This makes varikabi's behavior  even more versatile. 
In addition, the colored LEDs of the varikabi kit can be replaced by the transparent red/blue LEDs. These light up in both directions and no longer need to be reversed.

We have put together four circuits, each with two variants, with which varikabi's basic functions can be expanded. And by the way, you will playfully learn what a low-pass, a high-pass or an astable flip-flop is in electronics, for example.  

1)  Take it easy

With the built-in capacitor, it takes a while until varikabi decides to stop and start again.

2)  A drunken robot

Because varikabi reacts too slowly, it now drives its tracks in serpentine lines.

3)  Frightened and trusting

These circuits combine the braking and acceleration modes in a staggered manner and the LEDs light up  blue or red accordingly.

4)  A wiggling dachshund

The left and right motors are turned on and off alternately.
