Grove-SEN55 All-in-one environmental sensor

Description:

The Grove-SEN55 is an integrated environmental sensor that combines particulate matter, nitrogen oxide, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), humidity and temperature measurements. Designed for HVAC ("Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning")applications and long-term operation, it offers precise data and easy integration.

The sensor is equipped with sensing components that can change the strength of the current according to a specific gas to measure VOC and nitrogen oxides, applying the same principle to the measurement of temperature and relative humidity. The sensor has a laser generator and a filter as it uses the laser scattering method to calculate the particle size of the gas passing through the sensor to provide accurate PM1.0, PM2.5, PM4 and PM10 detection. The above 8 signals are continuously output and the sampling interval is only 1 second.

Based on the complex mathematical algorithm and model, the sensor is designed to output calibrated digital signals to ensure superior detection accuracy. The sensor components on it are characterized by high robustness, so that the cable can be used around the clock for up to 10 years. Three operating modes are available to the user, which is helpful for edge deployment. It costs only 6.8 mA in RHT/gas-only measurement mode and 2.6 mA in idle mode, while the full function of the measurement mode can be programmed to turn on or off via the IIC function.
