The Grove - OLED Display 1.12 V3.0 (SH1107) is a monochrome display with a resolution of 128*128. It has a user-friendly design and better performance as both I2C and SPI are available.
Compared to LCDs, OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) offers many advantages such as self-emission, high contrast ratio, slim/thin contour, wide viewing angle and low power consumption. The display works with both 3.3 V and 5 V supply voltage.
You can use either the I2C or SPI interface to illuminate the display with your microcontroller and display words or images, for example. SPI contributes to a faster image response, resulting in a better product experience.
