The LAMP:bit has connections that can be used to attach the Micro:bit directly to it. It has been designed to mimic a street lamp in form and function. This is a great board for use in school, for example in transportation projects, and has been designed to have the same aesthetic as the STOP:bit so they can be used together in the same projects.
The board also has a phototransistor that can react to changes in ambient brightness and switches the white LED on and off automatically.
The board is powered by the micro:bit, which is connected to the board via the 0 V and 3 V pins.
Features:
- The LAMP:bit is an accessory for the BBC micro:bit (V1, V2) that emulates a street lamp.
- It has a built-in phototransistor for autonomous switching.
- The micro:bit can be screwed/clamped onto the circuit board.
- Follows the same aesthetics as the STOP:bit.
- It can be used with the STOP:bit for larger projects.
