Controlling the robot arm
The DOBOT Magician can be conveniently programmed on a PC using the proprietary Dobot Studio software. Within the software there are different programming options: the classic script programming, the Teach and Playback function and the block-based programming solution via Blockly. Especially the Teach and Playback and Blockly programming are also suitable for younger students, as the programming process is clearly presented and easy to follow in both variants.
Alternatively, the robot arm can be controlled via an app or Bluetooth. It is also possible to connect a programmable logic controller (PLC).
Easy expansion through serial interfaces
With its 13 I/O ports and API, the DOBOT Magician is ready for use in individual user applications.
Control is possible, for example, by a PLC or an Arduino-compatible microcontroller.
Can be combined with other DOBOT products
The DOBOT Magician was specially developed to impart knowledge in an application-oriented manner. Especially with regard to the change in the course of Industry 4.0 and the associated striving for automated processes, DOBOT has succeeded in providing a wide range of products.
