Pressure bed coatings: What do I need you for?
Nothing is more frustrating in 3D printing than a lack of print bed adhesion of the 3D object, also known as warping. To help you prevent this very phenomenon, it is recommended that you use a print bed coating. The coatings increase the adhesion force (force of attraction) between the print object and the printing plate. At the same time, you protect the plate from scratches or other damage and thus also increase the service life of your 3D printer.
If you use print bed coatings, you can remove your finished print product from the plate significantly easier and usually without leaving any residue. In addition, with some coatings, such as when you use Kapton tape, you get a beautiful and smooth print surface.
What types of print bed coatings are there?
Whether painter's tape, spray adhesive, blue tape, Kapton tape or BuildTak permanent printing plate - you are spoiled for choice. We have therefore clearly summarized the most important properties for you:

We recommend the use of a permanent printing plate. Over the years, we have found (with daily use of more than twenty 3D printers) that these require relatively little maintenance and offer excellent value for money. Print objects can be easily removed from the surface with a cutter knife.
