Dobot Atom - Humanoid AI robot for research, industry and autonomous systems
The Dobot Atom is Dobot's first humanoid robot and was developed as a universal platform for embodied AI applications. The life-size, bionic design combines human movement capability with modern AI computing power and high-precision robotics - for flexible use in laboratories, industry and service environments.
With up to 41 degrees of freedom (depending on the variant), 7-DoF arms and a repeatability of up to ±0.05 mm, the Atom is suitable for demanding tasks such as assembly, object manipulation, equipment operation and experimental robotics workflows.
Precise manipulation with Neuro-Driven Dexterity (NDS)
The Neuro-Driven Dexterity System (NDS) uses transformer-based AI to combine visual perception and sensitive grasping control. In combination with binocular full HD vision, RGB-D sensor technology and optional 5-finger hands, complex manipulation tasks are possible - from repeatable gripping operations to fine motor interactions.
Natural locomotion with anthropomorphic walking (AWS)
For mobile applications, the Dobot Atom supports an anthropomorphic walking concept with a straight knee posture. A neural end-to-end control system coordinates the joints in a stable manner and enables safe movement even in confined environments such as production areas, laboratories or service areas.
AI computing platform for on-device inference
Depending on the configuration, the Dobot Atom is equipped with a powerful edge computing platform. High-priced variants support a 1500 TOPS AI computing module for real-time perception, on-device inference and robotic learning directly on the system.
