The Grove oxygen sensor (ME2-O2-Ф20) is a kind of analog gas sensor for testing the oxygen concentration in the air, which is based on the principle of electrochemical cell. The actual oxygen concentration can be clearly recognized by outputting the voltage values proportional to the oxygen concentration and referring to the linear characteristic diagram of oxygen concentration.
This Grove O2 sensor can be used to make a simple oxygen level detector and analyzer. It can measure the O2 concentration in a range from 0 to 25% by volume and the maximum detection concentration is 30% by volume. It is very suitable for detecting oxygen concentration in Arduino projects.
This sensor can be connected to the Grove Pi+, which supports Raspberry Pi, or to the Base Shield, which supports Arduino Uno. There is also a related product - the Grove gas sensor (MQ2), which has a wiki for setting up a gas sensor with Seeeduino.
