DOBOT Magician - Education Package Automation 1

In this educational package, each Dobot Magician robot arm can be controlled by a sensor.

The robots react to the external "trigger" of a light barrier and execute the previously programmed motion sequence. Programming can be done via the usual methods, such as Teach&Playback, Blockly or even Python

It is also possible to store the program sequences on the robots. This allows this production line to be programmed using only a single computer or laptop. 

Intended automation process:

• Robot1 picks up a business card blank from the designated fixture and places it into the fixture on the conveyor belt. 
• Conveyor belt: The conveyor belt starts as soon as the business card is placed and stops when the business card reaches the stamping position.
• Robot2 starts the stamping process when the sensor on Robot2 detects the arrival of the business card ring.
• The conveyor moves the device with the stamped business card to the third robot.
• Robot3 takes the business card from the fixture and places it in the designated fixture, which is also equipped with a photoelectric sensor. 
• The conveyor belt moves the tray for the business card back to the start position.
• As soon as the stamped business card is removed from the tray, the third light barrier registers this and the associated robot1 restarts the production process.

The DOBOT Magician - the heart of the education package

The DOBOT Magician is a multifunctional desktop robot arm specially developed for the education sector.
The highlight: The tools of the robot arm can be exchanged in just a few steps. This provides a wide range of possible applications.

Furthermore, the robot arm supports creative work with its 13 additional I/O interfaces and compatibility with more than 20 programming languages - there are no limits to your imagination.

The DOBOT Conveyor

The purpose of the DOBOT conveyor belt seems to be quickly recognized: it offers the possibility to transport material.
The conveyor belt is probably the most important building block in the course of Industry 4.0 for simulating a production line.

The Workspace (2x included)

The frame (3x included)

• serves to lock the DOBOT Magician on the Workspace
• has a practical coordinate system

 The stamp module (1x included)

• enables the printing of objects like business cards
• The robot tool contains a standardized Trodat "Printy 4912" stamp. On request, this can be supplied with an individual logo, e.g. of the school or company. The stamp is plugged in and therefore exchangeable.

• Slider perforated plate - perforated plate with anti-slip locking on the conveyor belt
