Grove - XBee connector

The Grove - XBee connector is an adapter for Xbee series that can connect wireless modules such as WIFI Bee, RF Bee, Bluetooth Bee, etc. to Arduino. It is more effective for performing peer-to-peer and mesh network operations wireless modules. The CJT1117 regulator guarantees Xbee a stable voltage of 3.3 V. The LEDs can clearly indicate the operating modes of the Grove.

The module has the same functions as XBee Shield. Grove-XBee-Steccker and Arduino are connected by cable and XB Shield is a standard adapter that can be connected to Arduino.

Hardware overview:

• J1: Grove interface, used to connect to the UART interface of Arduino/Seeeduino.
• J2, J3: Breakout connection for each pin of Xbee.
• J4, J5: Xbee socket
• U1: CJT1117 IC, low dropout linear regulator. Used for 3.3 V power supply for XBee modules.
• U2, U3: SN74LVC1G125 IC, protects your XBee from 5 V signals and converts it to 3.3 V.
• RSSI indicator: XBee RX signal strength indicator.
• PWR LED: Power indicator.
• ASSOC indicator: Xbee Associated Indicator.
• ON/SLEEP LED: Status indicator of the XBee module.
