With the Grove female header, you can integrate your modules with a 4-pin connector into the Grove system and create prototypes with various development boards from Seeed.

Difference between the regular version and the 90D version

There are mainly two different versions of the Grove Female Header. There is the regular version and the 90D version. When the regular version is soldered to a PCB, the header sits perpendicular to the PCB, whereas with the 90D version, which is soldered to a PCB, the header sits parallel to the PCB.

What is Grove?

Grove facilitates connection, experimentation and simplifies the prototyping process. No jumpers or soldering are required. More than 300 Grove modules have been developed to cover a wide range of applications and fulfill a variety of requirements. Not only the hardware is open source, but also the software.
